How to Control Your iPhone from Your Computer

Today we will learn how to control your iPhone from your computer!

This tutorial might be useful for someone who wants to show something on their iDevice easier and much clearer as opposed to on the device itself.  It is also a pretty cool trick to show your friends as well.

How to Control Your iPhone from Your Computer


  1. Download RealVNC
  2. Download the iPhone app Veency from the Cydia store (Requires a jailbroken iDevice)
  3. Open up the RealVNC VNC Viewer
  4. Now grab your iPhone and navigate to Settings-Wifi. Click on the blue arrow next to your current connection.
  5. On the page you should find a section called IP Adress. Note down the numbers that appear next to it.
  6. Go back to the RealVNC VNC Viewer and type the number you saved.
  7. Done.

Veency Controls

Left Click: Touch Screen

Middle Click: Lock Button

Right Click: Menu Button

Keyboard: Keyboard

  20. These kind of apps are real handy, few other similar apps like Tonido are well designed too. But with laptops, and portable drives that could fit in our pockets, the remote desktop clients may not be that vital.

    Maybe, try looking in the MarketPlace for an app saying something like computer to pc connection or something. Im pretty sure in the Business section there are a few apps that do that
