How To AutoTune Your Voice

Want to autotune your voice? Everyone now a day is autotuning their voices. You see it all the time in the music industry.

If you do you not know what an autotuned voice sounds like just turn on your radio and stream in to any popular station and you’re bound to here at least one autotuned song.

Autotuning basically distorts the way your voice sounds making it seem almost robotic.

In this tutorial we are going to learn how to autotune.

I intended to try to show you how to autotune your voice with free software but after a few hours of playing around and seeing countless other tutorials, none of them worked.

How To Autotune Your Voice

For this to work you’re going to need:

  • iPhone (iPod Touch, iPad)
  • I Am T-Pain app ($2.99)

The I Am T-Pain app is truly awesome and really fun. All you have to do, once you’re done installing it, is basically speak or sing into your devices mic and then it will autotune your voice.

You can also sing along to your libraries music or other songs already inside the app.

If you are lost on how to use the app, it also comes with a tutorial so you will know exactly how everything works.

  3. I don’t have a iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. All I have is a DS Lite and a DSi XL. Someone really needs to make more free software like this for DS.

  7. I got the app on my iPod touch and bought headphones with a microphone .. got the app it works and all but i tried . i went on the tune button i tried everything but my voice is still the same when i play it back… it doesn’t auto tune my voice … its a waste
